Best Adhesive for Adding More Epoxy Flakes to My Garage Floor?

Asked By CraftyGamer84 On

I recently applied an epoxy finish to my garage floor, but there's this 3'x3' section that ended up with fewer flakes than the surrounding area. I'm searching for a spray adhesive that will allow me to add more flakes without remaining sticky once it's dry. I know this isn't the ideal fix, but I believe it could achieve a decent result without needing to redo a lot of work.

For adding flakes, there really isn't a shortcut without doing more work. A second layer of epoxy over just that patch can work really well! And yep, you can definitely just do that small area without it being too much of a hassle. As for finding a non-sticky adhesive, I haven't come across any that would give you the desired outcome.

It sounds like you might need to apply another layer of epoxy to that area and then sprinkle some flakes on top. Just hitting that spot should be manageable and shouldn't require too much extra effort. Honestly, trying to find a non-sticky spray adhesive might lead you to disappointment since most adhesives will have some tackiness after drying.
