I'm on the lookout for apps that can help me manage and keep track of my belongings at home or in a small office. I previously used a note-taking app, but it hasn't been very effective. I'd love to hear about what apps you've found useful for inventorying items in a home or small workspace!

You should check out Grocy! It's designed for tracking inventory and can do a lot more than just that. We primarily use it to keep tabs on our pantry and freezer contents. Just a heads-up, it does require self-hosting, so it might not be for everyone!
Sure, there are many dedicated apps, but I personally like keeping it old school and jotting things down on paper. It feels simpler to me. By the way, I’d love to see what you guys track on paper if you’re open to sharing screenshots! I might even think about creating an app if it seems interesting enough!
Have you thought about using ChatGPT? I've just moved into a new place and as I sort through everything, I snap photos of my items. It can recognize some stuff, and I tell it where things are stored. It remembers details for me, which is super handy! Plus, you can create logs and even categorize items into a worksheet.
