Hey everyone! I'm just starting out with DIY projects and I have a question about wall anchors. I made a hole that's a bit too big for the anchor, and I'm wondering if it's a good idea to use epoxy to glue the wall anchors into the hole. I need them to hold secure since I'm planning to hang some heavier items (around 7-10kg) on concrete walls. Also, if I epoxy the anchors in, will I be able to remove them in the future, or will they be stuck for good? I appreciate any insights you can provide!

Yes, epoxy acts like a chemical anchor. It should work well in concrete. If you're worried about drips, add some colloidal silica to thicken it up. Sawdust can be a temporary fix, but it’s not as strong.
Using epoxy for concrete sounds fine, but keep in mind it will make the anchor permanent. If you ever need to replace it, you’ll probably have to drill it out. You might want to consider fixing your current hole and drilling a new one nearby instead.
Epoxy is definitely good for this. You'll need to drill it out if you want to replace it later, but just make sure to clean the hole first. If you're new to epoxy, try taping over the hole and cutting it to catch any excess. Loctite makes a great product that comes in a syringe for easy application.
Have you thought about using toggle bolts? They’re excellent for supporting heavier loads when you can't hit a stud.
Before going further, check if you can use a larger anchor that fits the hole better. It could save you some hassle down the line.
