Dog poop is a huge pain for many landscapers, especially if you're working in public parks or areas frequented by pet owners. I've found that using a line trimmer can turn a simple job into a smelly mess. And it’s not just that — sometimes you get those surprise projectiles right in your face despite all the protective gear! It's just the gift that keeps on giving, right?

Totally! It’s like there's some sort of force field that guarantees you’ll step in it or get it on you somehow. I’ve had my fair share of unfortunate encounters!

Estimates can be soul-crushing. I love the hands-on work and creativity involved in landscaping, but spending hours just calculating costs is a drag. You could argue that it takes the fun out of it, making the whole process feel more like a chore than a passion. Plus, when you finally give them a competitive price and all they do is negotiate for less? That's just exhausting.

I can relate to that! I remember spending all day on estimates, only to have clients trying to haggle down to dirt cheap prices. It really makes you question their respect for your skills.

Clients can be really difficult. Residential homeowners, especially, can be the worst — often indecisive and rarely satisfied. They want to give you tips on how to do your job, even when you have years of experience. It can be infuriating, especially when they’re throwing shade on your work despite you explaining everything in detail.

Absolutely! They might say things like, 'Well, the last three landscapers failed me,' while you're trying to explain the underlying issues that they refuse to acknowledge.
