I'm looking for effective methods to control weeds in my raised garden beds. I've heard several suggestions, but I'd love to get a variety of ideas. What are some tried-and-true techniques that work well?

I switched to using 20mm gravel after having issues with cats treating my mulch as a litter box. It still allows for some weeds, but they're easy to pull out when they do show up. Definitely a low-maintenance option!
Using heavy mulch is a solid strategy! It really helps suppress weeds. Just make sure to weed regularly to stay on top of it. Also, ground cover plants can do wonders for shading and preventing weeds from sprouting.
If you're really desperate, a blowtorch works for stubborn weeds—though it's typically more suited for patios. Just be careful with it though!

Totally agree! Consistent weeding is key, even with mulch around.
