How Can I Power My Orange Pi 5B (5V 4A) from My Car Battery?

I'm looking to power my Orange Pi 5B, which requires 5V at 4A, directly from my car's 12V battery. I have access to the battery's cables and can set up a USB female connection. Ideally, I'd like something that connects via USB-C, but the available adapters I've found only output 2 to 3 Amps. Is there a way to create a DIY solution for this?

You should consider using a DC to DC converter; that should get the job done! I found one online that can handle up to 5A for about $10. Just make sure it’s rated properly before buying. Here's a link: https://a.co/d/awJWqcK

Good point! Just be aware that if it says it's rated for 5A, it might not actually deliver that. It’s usually safer to get a converter rated higher than you need—like the next size up.
