I'm trying to decide between the Gen 1 and Gen 2 M12 Stubby impact wrenches. Here in Sweden, the Gen 1 costs about $160, while the Gen 2 is $320. I don't have a high output battery either. Given the price difference, is it really worth it to go for the Gen 2?

It really comes down to what you plan to use it for. If you're doing small engine work or tasks under 14mm, the Gen 1 is actually pretty solid. However, if you're dealing with rust or need more power, you might want to shell out for the Gen 2 or even consider an M18 mid-torque.

I’m planning on doing suspension and brake work on my car, which is why I'm wondering if the Gen 2 is better for that.
