Will My Couch Fit Through the Door?

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a bind over a couch I recently bought. I really messed up the measurements and now I'm anxious that it won't fit through my door! The couch's dimensions are 91" long, 37.5" wide, and 46" high, while the door measures 79.5" tall and 31" wide. I've been crunching numbers for hours trying to figure this out, but I could really use some help from anyone who's tackled a problem like this before. Is there any hope of getting this couch inside? You’re not alone! Fitting large furniture through tight spaces is tricky. Here's some thoughts:
1. Have you tried removing the feet of the couch? That might give you a few extra inches.
2. Sometimes the fabric can compress—maybe it can squeeze through?
3. If you're up for it, taking the door off the hinges could give you just enough extra clearance.
4. As a last resort, you could consider disassembling parts of the couch if possible—like removing an arm. It might be a hassle, but if you really want that couch, it's worth it!

It's not really about math; you're just dealing with some awkward dimensions! If you can't cancel your order, see if there’s another way to bring it in. Can you check if there's a wider door or maybe a window? If not, you might have to just get creative when it arrives—try tilting it or angling it somehow!

Honestly, canceling the order might be your best bet if you can’t find any solution! Fitting that couch through that door sounds like a nightmare. Make sure you keep your options open, though! If it doesn't fit, consider returning it for a smaller size—you deserve a couch that comes home easy!
