I'm dealing with some really noisy floors on the second level of our house, and it's a big problem for our kids' sleep. We tried using the Squeak No More kit in our son's nursery, but we struggled to locate the right spots to drill and ended up with a bunch of holes and only one screw actually sticking. Now, our daughter's in that room, and she's also sensitive to noise. I can usually sneak out when she's in a deep sleep, but my husband's late-night routine always wakes her up. He comes to bed around 1 am, and it's become a nightly struggle because she only wants me to soothe her back to sleep. We've tried using a sound machine and walking softly, but it's just not working. Sometimes my husband even resorts to sleeping downstairs to avoid disturbing her. It's frustrating! We want to find a solution that doesn't involve replacing the entire subfloor. Any ideas?

Sounds like a rough situation! Have you thought about making noise a part of her sleep environment? You could try getting her used to some background noise. A fan or a white noise machine can help drown out the floor sounds. It might seem counterintuitive, but my kids really slept better with some sound in the background. If she gets used to it, she might sleep through the squeaks!

That's a great idea! I find that any noise helps too, like a soft fan or something similar!
