I'm really struggling with my neighbor's cats that keep digging up and using my garden as a litter box. This has been going on for a couple of years now, and it's ruining my hard work in the garden. I've tried talking to the neighbors, using different powders and deterrents like chili powder and even lion dung, but nothing seems to work. I'm genuinely frustrated and would appreciate any advice on how to keep them out for good!

You might want to try laying down some physical barriers like prickle strips or chicken wire over your garden beds. They make it tough for cats to dig and can help keep your plants safe. Also, if you cover the area with mulch or thorny plants, they'll think twice before coming back.
A motion-activated sprinkler could be your best bet! When a cat gets sprayed with cold water, it quickly learns to stay away. It’s a safe and effective way to deter them since cats have great memories and won’t want to return after a few experiences with the spray.
Totally agree! I did something similar with my water pistol, and after a few squirts, that cat never showed its face again!
Another option is to break up the open spaces in your garden. Cats love bare soil for digging, so you could plant some ground cover or strategically place pots and logs to make it less appealing for them. Plus, I've heard curry plants can repel cats because of their smell! Give it a try and see if it works for you.

I can vouch for using thorny bushes! I covered my garden with some rose cuttings, and it's definitely worked to keep them away.
