Can I Add More Solar Panels to My Existing Setup?

I currently have a 5-year-old solar installation using Sunpower panels, and I'm interested in adding a couple more. I originally had limited space, but now I have the opportunity to expand. Right now, I have 6 Sunpower SPR-X22-370-D-AC panels, all connected to Enphase IQ7XS micro inverters. The Enphase cables are pretty straightforward, plus I have some unused slots available. My system is on a 15amp dual pole 240v circuit breaker wired with 10AWG cables. I'm trying to figure out if I can safely add 1-2 additional panels. I'd also like advice on matching new panels with my existing setup. Any tips would be appreciated!

You're likely going to have a tough time finding exact matches for your existing panels unless you can locate some used ones. I've heard there are still new SunPower 425's available, but keep in mind they are larger than the 370's you currently have. So, size could be a factor if you go that route.

I recommend checking out Enphase's installer info if you haven't already. From what I understand, Sunpower and Enphase systems should be able to communicate with other Enphase micros of the same generation. However, it's essential to match the specs of the new panels with your existing inverters to ensure everything works smoothly.
