While I love my local nursery for its variety, I wish they had a more reasonable return policy for plants that don’t make it after purchase. Their prices can be high for certain plants compared to big stores, and the staff can come off as a bit arrogant, which is disappointing. They really need to work on making the shopping experience more welcoming.
One of my favorites is Annie’s Annuals in the Bay Area, now known as Curious Flora. They host awesome classes, like quick tomato growing tips, and they have a large native plant section. I love the fun signage for the plants—it really gets you excited to try them at home!
There's a popular garden center near me that runs seasonal classes like wreath making and orchid care. It’s great for getting hands-on experience and meeting other gardening enthusiasts!
