Looking for Tips on Making a Large Waterproof Sculpture

I'm working on building a large sculpture, roughly 4 feet long, 3 feet wide, and 5 feet tall. I'm aiming for something that is really lightweight, can be disassembled for easier transport, and waterproof enough to withstand rain. I want it to look good once painted as well. I've thought about using cardboard and cutting/gluing it together, and also considered a paper mache approach over chicken wire with a sealant. I'm feeling a bit stuck and I'm running out of time, so I would love any suggestions or ideas you might have!

Have you thought about using Styrofoam? You can carve it and then seal it with latex exterior paint. After that, add a few layers of sand mixed into the wet paint for durability. Just a heads up, though—birds love to peck at it for nesting, so that might be an issue if you’re placing it outside.

You might want to try the cloth soaked in Portland cement technique! I've seen a ton of YouTube videos on it. Just drape the cloth over some chicken wire, and it can be painted later. It's quite weather-resistant too! Although, keep in mind, it's not super lightweight either.
