What to do about my shower pan being 3/8″ higher than the floor?

I made a mistake during my bathroom renovation, and now my shower pan is 3/8" higher than the finished flooring. I'm worried about it being a tripping hazard and thought about using a tile edge or Schluter profile to highlight the difference. I also have to think about covering the edge of the tile I'm planning to install, which is 3/8" thick. I've seen some T-moulding, but I'm not sure if it can be used sideways without looking weird. What are my options here? Check out the photos I posted for a better idea: [link to images]

If you're looking for an edge treatment, a curb could be a good idea. Schluter makes curbs that are pretty stylish and functional, plus they could help in keeping the water contained. You might want to check those out!

Totally agree! A curb can really add a nice look and function to your shower setup.

You definitely need to have something in place to keep the water inside the shower. Have you considered installing a fixed glass panel for the front and a glass door for the back? That might give you a good seal, especially since your pan is pre-sloped, which helps with drainage. Just make sure everything is properly sealed to avoid leaks!

Sounds like a solid plan! Just keep an eye on the edges to ensure they're waterproofed well.
