I'm considering getting a work bench to use as my desk. I need something that's at least 60 inches long and 24 inches deep, with a budget of under $250. What do you all think?

You could totally make your own desk! I built one myself that’s around 48x24" and it cost me about $200, including some extra tools. Just make sure you consider your DIY skills; my last one was a bit wobbly when I used it. But if you’re keen on the project, it could fit your space perfectly!
You might want to think about buying a desk instead. A work bench can give off a vibe of having advanced skills, which you might not want people to assume. Plus, desks are designed for that purpose and are generally more comfortable to use every day.
