I'm looking to add some greenery to my apartment and need suggestions for plants that can thrive without direct sunlight. I've never really kept plants before, so I'm hoping to find something that's beginner-friendly and won't require constant care. I work long shifts (about 12 hours), so I can manage to water them in the mornings and evenings, but I'm not really sure how often they need watering. Any advice would be awesome!

Pothos are super easy and fun! They come in different varieties, and you can hang them or let them climb if you want. Definitely a great choice for beginners!
If you're open to using a grow light, you can actually try loads of plants! In my apartment, I’ve got everything from snake plants to pothos and even African violets, all thriving under cheap grow lights. They really make a difference!
I recommend starting with a snake plant! They're really hardy and perfect for beginners since they don’t need much attention—some of my larger ones only need a drink about 3-4 times a year, which is super low maintenance. You should be good with that!
Snake Plant was definitely one that came up on my google searches, that and Cast Iron Plant seemed like popular "hard to kill choices" haha, thank you for the advice!!!

Wow, that is beautiful, I love your setup, eventually I may go ahead and get some grow lights. But for now I think I just want to start with a simple plant, I really like the bamboo! haha
