Hey everyone! I'm trying to avoid making super thin cuts against the fence on my table saw. I've been looking into thin-rip table saw jigs, like the ones from Woodcraft and Rockler. Has anyone out there actually used these jigs in real-life projects? How well do they perform?

I've got one of the simpler jigs, basically a movable bearing on a miter bar. It works pretty well for what it is. I actually use it more as a feather board since it’s easier to set up. Just a heads up, the scale on it isn't accurate, which makes it tricky to set specific cuts. I typically align it with the blade teeth using gauge blocks, then adjust it back into position to cut.

That sounds helpful, thanks! I was really wondering how the scale worked for accurate measuring since I had an older version and mostly used it for feather boarding instead.
