How Can I Remove Glued Cleats from Drywall Without Causing Damage?

I'm trying to move my desk down about 3 inches and need to remove three cleats that are glued, screwed, and nailed onto the painted drywall. I'm anticipating some repair work afterward, but I'm struggling to loosen the glue. I've already tried using a blow dryer to no avail. Does anyone have tips on how to safely remove these cleats with minimal damage to the drywall?

An oscillating tool could be your best bet if the glue is really hardened. It helps get in there without damaging the wall too much. Just take your time with it!
