I'm trying to find a good way to store old clothes in vacuum bags on a high shelf in my son's narrow closet. It's tricky because the closet doesn't have much room for bins or containers. I was considering using eye hooks with bungee cords or netting to keep everything secure. Does anyone have other ideas or suggestions? Using car netting could be a good option if the width allows for it, as it typically comes with grab rings to keep items in place.
I’ve had success with extendable shower curtain poles. They hold a lot without needing to be taken down to grab things. I just use a step stool to lift items over the pole when I need them, and they work perfectly for storing heavier items like suitcases and blankets.
I think bungee cords or netting are great ideas! You might also want to consider tension rods—they could work well. Just keep in mind that taking down rods might cause everything to spill out, while bungee cords will hold things in place better when you just need to grab one item.
