Looking for a High Gloss Water-Based Finish in Australia

I'm on the hunt for a quality water-based finish available in Australia, particularly one that offers a high gloss look. I've tried using Monocel, but it ended up looking more satin than gloss. Any suggestions?

Bunnings has a few options that might work for you. Check out Cabot's gloss water-based clear polyurethane. Just a heads-up, it’s got a rating of 2.8, so it may not be the best choice according to some users. Personally, I find most water-based finishes a bit lacking, but you might have better luck since you're looking for something specific. If you're open to exploring, you might want to consider some other wood finishes too, just to see if something else captures that gloss you're after.

I get why you want water-based; it helps keep the color of stains and artwork intact. Bunnings hasn’t been up to par for me either with gloss finishes. I’m tired of buying products that don’t deliver! The spray application is smart at least—it should save you some headaches.
