Am I Overthinking My Indoor Gardening Routine?

I'm planning to start a small raised garden bed this summer to grow some veggies, but I'm pretty new to gardening. To get a feel for it, I bought a pothos plant and placed it by a window for plenty of sunlight. So far, my routine only involves watering it in the morning, but I can't shake the feeling that I might be missing something important. Is there more actively involved care I should be doing?

No worries, you're not missing anything crucial! Just a tip: watering every morning might be a bit much, especially since indoor plants usually don't need as much water as outdoor ones. Pay attention to the soil moisture; you might find watering every few days is better!

Honestly, if your pothos is happy, that's a win! As you get into gardening more, you'll encounter situations where you'll need to repot, fertilize, or prune your plants. It's all about understanding what each plant prefers.

You're actually doing great! Indoor plants can thrive with minimal effort, which is really nice compared to gardening outside, where you deal with pests and weather. Just keep observing your pothos, and you'll learn more about what it needs as it grows.
