I'm trying to mix a small batch of Sackrete, around 11-12 cups, but I can't find any specific guidelines for how much water to add compared to the full bag amount. Is there a straightforward way to scale this ratio down, or any tips for getting the right consistency? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You can definitely scale the water ratio down! If it seems too thick when you start mixing, just add a bit more water gradually. Make sure to mix it well before adding more, as it can still work even if it’s slightly thinner. Just be careful if you're using forms, as a very runny mix can escape through gaps.
Just scale it down according to the bag's weight ratio. A good trick is to leave a bit of water out initially, only adding it if the mix feels too dry. And remember, a wetter mix is weaker, so aim for something that feels like oatmeal instead of pancake batter! Also, consider looking into products like Counter Flo for better consistency when molding.
Start by adding a little water to the concrete mix and stirring it up. If it looks dry, keep adding a bit more water until it reaches a good consistency. It might look soupy at first, but it’ll set up just right once it's mixed properly.
Exactly! If it ends up too wet, just take some of it out and add more dry mix till you get it right.

That's right! And remember, once you add water, you can't take it out, so go slow to avoid making it too watery!
