I'm dealing with a serious bedbug issue while sleeping on a wooden bed without a mattress, and it's driving me crazy. I've been bitten several times, including once on my hand which resulted in a wound, and most recently just below my lips. I'm looking for a permanent solution to this problem, so I can sleep peacefully again. Any suggestions?

Fumigation paired with a thorough cleaning of your entire space is crucial. Bedbugs can be tough to eliminate, but consistent cleaning and treatment will help a lot.

There's no magic fix for bedbugs; the best way to tackle them is to clean everything. Wash all your fabrics, including bedding and clothing, and consider having your place fumigated. Also, heat treatment is another effective option, though it can be pricey. I recommend looking into professional help if the situation is severe.

Using a heat gun on your bed frame daily can be very effective since bedbugs die at about 120°F. Just make sure to focus on all the crevices and corners. You can also look into getting a steam cleaner – they can help with those hard-to-reach spots. Just remember, it’s crucial to tackle any sources of infestation, including checking if neighbors are infested too.
