I'm lucky enough to have a sunroom for 40 of them, but I'm feeling overwhelmed with the number of plants and their 'baby' offshoots taking up space. I want to keep things minimal and neat, but I also want to rehome some of my plants instead of dumping them. However, I've got a problem: many of my plants, including a yucca that's been growing beautifully, have scale bugs. I've tried various methods to control these pests but with little success. Any suggestions on how I can downsize my collection while dealing with the scale bug issue?

For the extras, consider listing them online for free, but make sure to mention they have scale bugs. By the way, have you checked out systemic insecticides? They might help with the pests.
Many plant lovers, including myself, don’t mind buying plants even if they have bugs. Just make sure you have a solid quarantine routine to manage that. You could totally post in local buy nothing groups online—people love free plants, even with a disclaimer about the scale!
