I'm working on building a shed and need scaffolding to reach about 15 feet high. I'm considering my options for either renting or buying scaffolding. I'd need it for at least half a week, but possibly longer. Would Home Depot or Menards typically have the best rental rates for scaffolding compared to other local rental spots? If buying is a better option, where can I find a good Baker's scaffold at an affordable price? I've seen Menards lists their base unit at $15 per day, but I'm unclear on what the cost would be for a second level or how Home Depot's prices compare. Any insights would be appreciated!

I once rented scaffolding from a local equipment rental place, and it was pretty affordable, especially for a week. It's worth checking out local listings since they can have some great deals!
I paid around $250 for a one-week rental at a Home Depot in the Northeast. That was for a full 12-foot unit though, so make sure to ask if the height is the actual work height or just the reach when you’re renting!

Thanks for the info! Just to clarify, does the platform actually go to 12 feet high, or is that just the advertised 'reach' like with ladders?
