Question about Choosing Between M12 and M18 Grinders

Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a pickle trying to choose the right grinder for my projects. I'm looking at the M12 right angle die grinder to help grind down some really ugly welds and cut through some rusty bolts. Would that tool be sufficient, or should I opt for the bigger M18 grinder instead? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've got the M12 right angle die grinder, and it's pretty awesome for home use! I've paired it with some coarse red pads, and it does a fantastic job of cleaning up welds and prepping metal. Just a heads up though, if you're considering the full-size M18 angle grinder, steer clear of the non-fuel brushless model—it stalled on me during a project. I switched to a corded Metabo, which is much better.

Totally agree with you on the M18 non-fuel grinder! I had a similar experience and ended up with a much older model that outperformed it.
