I'm gearing up to sow a large wildflower meadow this weekend, covering about 1000 square meters. I plan to lift the turf, rotavate the area, and then sow a mix of wildflower seeds. Since my meadow gets plenty of sunshine, it seems like a perfect spot! I've tried smaller patches in the past that didn't take well, so I'm looking for recommendations on specific seed mixes or brands that have worked for you. Any advice?

If you're looking for specific flowers, I recommend incorporating poppies, cornflowers, and nigella. They'll add some beautiful colors to your meadow. Happy gardening!
A tip: try searching for companies that sell seed mixes specific to your local area. They tend to do better in the climate and help support local wildlife.
I've been using Boston Seeds for about a decade, and my clients have always been happy with the results after installation. Definitely worth looking into!
For a great mix, I'd suggest going for an annual and perennial blend. Meadowmania offers some good options that you should check out!
