Where Can I Find Affordable Wood in Charlottesville, VA?

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for some reasonably priced wood that measures about 3.5" x 3.5" x 60". I'd prefer Aspen, but I'm also open to Cherry, Red Cedar, Alder, or Tupelo. My husband is a woodworker who creates walking sticks, but since we recently moved, he's having trouble finding the supplies he needs locally. I've checked some online options, but they seem pretty pricey compared to what he usually pays. Does anyone have recommendations for websites or, maybe a local sawmill, in the Charlottesville, VA area?

You might want to check out CP Johnson in Elkwood, VA. They usually have a good selection and can help you out with what you're looking for.

Honestly, I’ve seen aspen that size just lying around in my area. Shipping might be a concern, but it could be worth checking. Ask around and you might get lucky!
