I'm curious, how old are everyone's oldest succulents? I think mine takes the cake as I have a Christmas cactus that's been alive for 56 years!

Haha, I'm here with my plants that are five years old and under! But hey, five years is still a solid effort—keeping them alive is half the battle!
I’ve got some ancient ones too! My oldest is a 55-year-old Lophophora diffusa clump, plus a 52-year-old Astrophytum Onzuka, and a similarly aged Mammillaria. They're awesome to have around!

Wow, 56 years is impressive! I've heard those Christmas cacti can live quite a long time. I have a Mammillaria pringli cactus that’s at least 25 years old, maybe older since it was in my childhood home. Then there's another Mammillaria that’s around 20 years old as well, but I can't tell if the original plant is still part of it since it's a bit of a cluster now. I had to deal with an Opuntia that took out most of the clumps, but they’re recovering nicely in a sunnier spot!
Wow, those are old! I'm glad they're doing better. My Christmas cactus originally came from my grandma, who inherited it from her mom. It had some rough times due to incense burning but now it's doing well with all my plants.
Haha! Five years is really good! Just keep caring for them, and they'll get older too.
