Hey everyone! I recently bought a chainsaw, but unfortunately, the flexvolt battery I had got damaged. I'm on the hunt for a replacement and wanted to know what you all think is a fair price for these batteries. Any advice would be appreciated!

It might be worth considering getting a tool that includes a fast charger and a 9Ah battery, or even returning your chainsaw for one that comes with both. If you're only equipped with one battery, you're going to want at least a couple, plus a fast charger to keep things running smoothly.

I got lucky with a deal at Home Depot during Black Friday—picked up a 12Ah for just $99! They were sold out when I went back, but the manager honored that price for a 9Ah instead.

$99? Wow, that's a steal! Last time I checked, they were priced at $149 unless there was some special promo running at your store.

A good rule of thumb is to pay around $13 per amp hour (Ah). The 15Ah model can be pretty hard to find at that price though; the others are generally easier to score.
