Tips to Keep Snails Away from My Garden?

My lettuce leaves have vanished overnight, and I've spotted a few snails in my backyard. Does anyone have effective tricks to prevent these pests from munching on my veggies?

I totally understand your struggle! I've been there too. The only remedy that really fixed my snail problem was BT (Bacillus thuringiensis). After using it, I noticed a massive decrease in snails. While some swear by other methods, I found this to be the most effective.

Have you tried crushed eggshells? I've sprinkled them around my plants and it seems to help. Also, diatomaceous earth is another option I've heard good things about. It creates a barrier that's tough for snails to cross, and it might just do the trick for your lettuce!

Diatomaceous earth really worked for me too! Just be careful to reapply it if it rains.

Crushed eggshells work well. Just make sure they're sharp. It can deter them effectively!

I've heard that using beer cans can be a great method! Just bury some half-filled cans with the tops level with the ground, and the snails will crawl in and get stuck. It worked wonders for me, and I didn't see any snails after setting it up. Just remember to replace them after a rain!
