Hey everyone! I'm building a lofted queen bed and want to make sure it's super secure. I'm trying to figure out the best way to attach a 2x8 to a wall with metal studs that are spaced 16 inches apart. Also, I'm looking for tips on how to connect the 2x8 at the corners with the posts. I want the bed to have minimal movement once it's all set up. I've been considering using 4x4 to 2x corner post brackets for the corners. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated!

When you're working with metal studs, keep in mind that they should just stabilize the frame and not bear the full weight of the bed. You should definitely have legs supporting it all around. I'd recommend checking out some videos on similar projects to see how others handled the connections and posting specifics about your setup for more targeted advice. Just make sure it's really secure!

Exactly! A queen bed is pretty wide, and you'd definitely want to avoid putting too much weight on the wall attachments. Can you share more details about what kind of posts you're using for the bed frame?
