I recently moved into a new house with my laundry room located in the basement. The basement is mostly finished, except for the laundry and utility room area where there's drain tile all around. Because of this, I can't push the washer and dryer snug against the wall without needing to shim the front. I'm looking for solutions to stabilize these appliances. I was thinking about using wood wedges or perhaps rubber risers, but I would love to hear some suggestions from anyone who has dealt with this sort of issue before. Right now, I'm using some 2x4s and shims, but it's unstable and needs constant adjusting every time the appliances are moved. I might add a picture in the comments if possible. Thanks for your help!

Another option is to pour or build a concrete platform for your appliances. This will give you a solid, level surface to work with, and it can help prevent any movement when washing.
You could build a sturdy platform using standard framing techniques with 2x4s and 3/4 plywood. Just make sure the platform is big enough to fit both the washer and dryer. This provides a solid and level base for your appliances and keeps everything steady!
Most appliances come with adjustable feet that can help level them out. Simply set your washer and dryer, put a level on top, and adjust those feet until everything is level. If the feet can’t extend enough, consider using plastic furniture leg pads with rubber bottoms to help. They can be stacked or paired with other blocks to reach the right height. Given the drain tile, those furniture pads might be your best bet!

I just found some threaded glides online. Do you think it's possible to replace those front adjustable legs with longer ones instead?
