What do you all recommend for this kind of situation? I'm looking at covering around 1000 square feet on each of 2-3 floors, depending on what I decide for the basement.

Honestly, LVP is not great—it’s just a cheap alternative and far from traditional. If you can afford hardwood in a few rooms, you can always add more later since you can use the same wood species for a seamless look. For basements, think about porcelain tiles with area rugs, depending on the moisture situation.
