I recently moved into a new apartment and I'm really not a fan of the light yellow beige walls that clash with the orange wood flooring and other beige features throughout the place. It's giving me a bit of a crazy feeling, honestly. I'm not keen on painting, but my landlord said I could either paint or use wallpaper if I'd like. I've never tried wallpaper before and sometimes find it a bit tacky. So, my question is: is wallpaper easy for beginners, and is it worth it to help me feel less insane about these yellow walls? I'd love any insights you might have!

I really think wallpaper is a pain, especially when it comes time to remove it. Paint is generally much easier! Just a heads-up, yellows can be tough to cover, so you might want to plan on needing at least two coats if you go that route.
Honestly, I think wallpaper is rarely worth it. If you're only sticking around for a short time, it's probably more trouble than it's worth. Plus, you have to get rolls from the same batch, or else you might end up with mismatched sections, and dealing with peeling edges can drive you up the wall!
If I were you, I'd just go for a neutral paint color that you love instead. It might be simpler in the long run and can completely change how the place feels without the hassle of wallpaper.

Totally agree about the yellows! They can be such a hassle to paint over. Would definitely recommend testing swatches first.
