As we transition into the fall and winter seasons, it's time to plan our next gardens! I'm curious about what everyone is planting this year. Are you going for tried-and-true favorites or experimenting with new varieties? I'd love for you to share your gardening zone and any experiences you have with the plants you're choosing this season.

I'm in zone 6 and just had an amazing crop of Jade green beans—about 75 quarts canned and plenty given away! I've been growing them for a decade now, and they’re super robust and productive.
How many plants did you have to grow to get that many beans?
I’m in zone 7b (Virginia) and I'm just focusing on collard greens and Swiss chard this year. Simple and delicious!
Yum! Sounds tasty!
I’m in zone 10b, Florida. I'm trying out lettuce, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts again, plus a trial run with spaghetti squash starting early this year. Experimenting with different veggies all over the yard for fun!

Wow, 75 quarts? That's impressive! Congrats on such a successful harvest!
