What’s Up with the Slimmer Battery for Heated Jackets?

Hey folks! I just picked up an M12 heated jacket (model 306-20) but it didn't come with batteries. I currently have two CP 1.5 batteries from a screwdriver kit, and I recently got a CP 3.0 battery, which definitely heats up the jacket faster. I stumbled upon this slimmer battery (model 48-11-2330) that seems to be made for heated gear, but it's sold out everywhere! Does anyone have one or know why it's so hard to find?

I've heard it's sold out everywhere in Canada too, but honestly, I'm not sure why. It's definitely a popular item! If you’re looking for alternatives, I’ve had great luck with a couple of these USB-C rechargeable batteries. They charge super quick and are convenient to swap out.

That slimmer battery does unlock Bluetooth features in the newer jackets, but just a heads up, it still has the same 3.0Ah capacity as the CP 3.0, so it won’t give you any extra runtime. I saw that your jacket is a hoodie, and it won't utilize Bluetooth controls, so you're not missing out on much there. If you wanna grab a CP 3.0, it's usually better to get it in a kit with a jacket for a discount!

I’ve got the slimmer battery and I really love it! They rolled out a software update that really improved its performance. I’m also confused as to why it’s out of stock everywhere, because it’s a solid upgrade from the CP batteries. Plus, it's more comfortable when sitting down!
