I'm looking to create a 16 foot by 16 foot wooden concert stage that stands 2 feet high. Ideally, it should be able to support around 2,000 lbs to be safe for a band to perform on. My woodworking skills are limited, so I want to know if this is something a professional woodworker could handle. Additionally, I want the stage to be split into four sections for easier transport. Any advice or thoughts on this project would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Absolutely, you can build that kind of stage! It's not too complicated, but you'll want to focus on making it both strong and lightweight. Just keep in mind that the construction quality is key to ensuring safety as well as ease of transport. If you hire someone who's experienced in stage building, they'll know how to make it work without being too heavy.

What sort of expert should I hire for this project?
