Frustrated with Lawn Laws? Seeking Advice for Garden Transition

I'm currently on a mission to turn my entire lawn into a vibrant garden. However, I'm battling against local lawn height laws and struggle to find lawn workers who can't distinguish between my crops and regular grass. This is seriously hindering my plans. I'm even contemplating guerrilla gardening because I'm so fed up with the need to erect fences and inform people not to run over my plants. Plus, why should I even have to deal with flimsy fencing? I'm growing a ton of cucurbit plants that require a lot of space, which I can't afford to outline due to the costs and effort involved. To make matters worse, I don't own a lawnmower or any tools and simply don't have the time to handle it myself. If anyone has insights on these laws or general advice regarding gardening in Prattville, Alabama, I would greatly appreciate it. These regulations are really pushing me over the edge!

Sounds like you're super dedicated to your garden! Maybe look into local gardening groups in your area or community boards? They could have tips or resources that help with the laws. And don't forget to check if there are any local ordinances you could challenge while you're at it!
