I'm making the switch to a 1993 Toyota Winnebago Warrior motorhome, and it'll just be my wife, our dogs, and me. We're planning on going boondocking for about a week and I could really use some tips on setting up heat and basic power systems. I already have a generator for air conditioning if necessary. We're looking at powering a TV, a computer, a fridge, and lights while we're out there. Any recommendations?

I'd recommend a setup with around 400W of solar panels and a pair of lithium batteries to keep your gear powered. For heating, propane is the way to go—it’ll keep you warm without draining your batteries. Use a DC fridge and LED lights to maximize efficiency, and save the generator for those hotter days when you really need the A/C or if you're using heavy appliances. That setup made my week-long trips super comfortable!
What type and size of lithium batteries are you using for that setup? I’m curious about the estimated size!
If your Winnebago is built on a pickup chassis, likely it has a standard RV fridge, which is super efficient when you run it on propane. For heating, going the propane route is a smart move since electric heat can really drain your electrical setup.
