Hey everyone! I'm new to gardening this season. I planted cherry tomatoes, a Better Boy tomato, and a bell pepper plant together in a 3x6 box planter back in late May. The tomatoes took off and produced a ton of fruit, but I had to pull them out because they started showing signs of blight. Now, I just have the pepper plant left, and it's been months without any fruit. The plant looks healthy—it's green with lots of leaves, but it keeps producing white flowers that just turn brown and fall off. It's about 3-4 feet tall, gets 8 hours of sunlight each day, and I water it whenever the soil is dry. I also fertilized both the peppers and tomatoes every three weeks. I'm in zone 7b and wondering if putting the tomatoes and peppers together affected my pepper's ability to fruit or if there's something else I can do to help it.

I feel your pain! I only managed to get 3 or 4 jalapeños all season too. It can be super frustrating when you work so hard and don’t get the results. Maybe it's just a slow-growing season for peppers this year!
I can totally relate! I'm in Maryland, and my peppers took forever to flower and produce this year. I only got five poblanos, and my sweet red peppers are still hanging on the vine, hoping they mature before it gets chilly! Sometimes, peppers just have a slower season. Hang in there; they might surprise you!
Same here! I’m in Idaho and with fall creeping in, I’m just hoping it doesn’t get too cold too fast for my peppers to start producing. Fingers crossed!
In SE Michigan (zone 6a), my mini sweets only started producing once that super hot weather kicked in. They went from barely doing anything to crazy flowering and fruiting in no time!

So strange! I wonder if weather conditions or soil issues are messing with them this year. It's tough to pinpoint.
