I'm trying to decide between the M18 and M12 inflators, especially since both are hackable at HD right now. I just need something to refill car tires and handle a few other tasks at home. Which one would be the better option?

If you want serious performance, go with the M18. It really outclasses the M12 in terms of features and capabilities. I recommend it without hesitation!
The M12 is smaller and cheaper, which works well for my coupes and sedans. It's less bulky for my trunk, and while the M18 might be better, I don't need all that power. The M12 is perfect for topping off tires, bikes, and sports equipment, plus it has impressed me since day one!
Totally agree! I use my M12 for all kinds of stuff; it’s compact and gets the job done for regular home use.
