What’s the Most Disappointing Plant You’ve Grown?

I'm curious to hear about your most underwhelming plants! For me, it's my pink princess philodendron. I got her for free (well, she was part of a deal—3 for $10), but honestly, she's just not doing it for me. Compared to the vibrant pinks of my tradscantia Nanouk and Zebrina, she falls flat. I'm generally a fan of popular plants like pothos, monsteras, and snake plants, so I'm not judging anyone's choices here. I just want to know what plants have left you feeling 'meh' and why!

I used to think hoyas were so ordinary, but I've come around—I have a few now! That said, my hoya lacunosa seems bent on slowly dying! It's been so frustrating!

My loving Hoya actually thrives and is relatively low-maintenance. Lucky me!

I feel you! The more effort I throw at my hoya, the more it seems to resist life.

I'm honestly quite let down by my pink princess. After waiting so long to get one, she's just underwhelming. Even though she's supposed to be stunning, her color is dull, and I’m considering giving up on her all together.

You got a knight for your princess? That's hilarious! I love that idea!

I've had a real struggle with prayer plants. No matter how well I care for them, they refuse to grow and slowly start to die. I'm on my second one now, and if it doesn’t make it, I'm done with them.

I totally get that struggle! Mine is actually thriving, and I just wish she would stop being so high-maintenance!
