I've got a couple of 12Ah batteries that came with my Dewalt lawnmower, and over the last few years, I've had to replace them under warranty several times. They keep dying on me! I also use the 12Ah batteries in other tools too. I have four 9Ah batteries that work fine in the mower and other tools as well. I have a charging station for all the batteries, and I've never had a problem with any of my non-12Ah batteries. I store all of them inside, so they aren't exposed to extreme temperatures. Given all this, I'm wondering if these 12Ah batteries are just not up to par? Has anyone else experienced similar issues? I'm just curious because Dewalt has been great with replacing them under warranty, but this situation is really strange to me.

I've heard similar complaints about the 12Ah batteries. Personally, I opted for the 9Ah batteries for my FlexVolt setup, and they’ve been solid. It's interesting to see the difference people's experiences make with battery sizes.
I’ve used my 12Ah batteries throughout the winter for leaf and snow blowing, and I haven't run into any issues. When you say they are 'dying out,' what exactly do you mean? Could you clarify that a bit?

I've faced multiple problems. Sometimes, the battery won’t turn on the tool or mower, even when it shows a charge. When I put it on the charger, it blinks once like it's starting to charge, but then goes dark and nothing else happens. It won’t charge at all.
