Why are my tomato plants struggling after transplanting?

Hey everyone! I transplanted my tomato plants into larger containers about a week ago, but they seem to be struggling a bit. A few days after the transplant, I fed them some diluted fish fertilizer. Since then, I've been watering them from the bottom only. I also removed my heat mat and I'm providing 12 hours of light with a grow light, running a fan occasionally to help with air circulation. Interestingly, my peppers and basil are thriving, but those are heirloom varieties. Any advice on what might be going wrong with the tomatoes?

It might be the case that your fertilizer wasn’t diluted enough and the pH could have been off, too. Fish fertilizers can have higher pH levels, so it's possible your plants are sitting in soil that’s soggy and too alkaline. But that's just my guess!

Looking at your previous post, I agree it might be the pH. The soil didn't have many nutrients, so even diluted fish fertilizer shouldn't have been a problem. It could be that your plants were just hungry and quickly took up the nutrients, but the pH was messing things up. Just remember, everyone makes mistakes when gardening, and it's all part of the learning process!

What type of soil did you use for your tomatoes? I wonder if the soil is completely dry in that photo you shared. That could be an issue! If so, a good mix for tomatoes is key to helping them bounce back.

I've used a standard potting mix. Just checked, and it seems okay, not bone dry but not super wet either.
