I'm pretty new to woodworking, though I have a background in CAD design, which I hope will help. I'm in Canada and building underbed drawers for my Ikea bed using 3/4" plywood. These drawers aren't on rails; they're on small plastic casters from Ikea, allowing them to bump into each other a bit (I'm okay with that). I've designed them with contact ledges at the bottom for sliding, measuring 32" in length. Besides waxing the bottom of the plywood, is there any affordable low-friction hardware I could use? I thought about using a felt material, but I'm unsure how to attach it to the contact ledge.

You might want to check out HDPE (high-density polyethylene) sheets or strips; they're great for this kind of application. If you want something easier to apply, HDPE tape works wonders and avoids the hassle of gluing. It really helps with keeping things sliding smoothly!

Hell yeah, thank you!
