I recently installed large ceramic tiles in my condo that look like old gray barn wood, and now I'm facing an issue. The tiles are laid over a concrete subfloor, but I suspect there was no moisture barrier put down, which might be causing problems. There's a small section where the tiles have slightly popped up, the grout is cracked, and it sounds hollow when I tap on it. I'm considering using spray foam insulation to fill the hollow area, but I'm aware that this might just be a quick fix. What do you all think?

I’d recommend reaching out to your contractor or Lowe's first. It sounds like they might have not used enough mortar or back buttered the tiles correctly. They really should come back and fix this for you.
Good move contacting Lowe's, but don't be afraid to also go directly to the installer. If Lowe’s isn't being helpful, challenge them to escalate your case. And don't forget to mention your rights if the installation warranty is still valid!
Just a heads up to everyone: if you're planning any renovations, be cautious with Lowe's or Home Depot. They subcontract to low-cost installers who might not get the job done right. If there's an issue afterward, it seems like these big stores often don't take responsibility. Talking to management in-store might be your best bet.
