Why Can’t I Ship My Milwaukee Battery for Repair in the USA?

I bought a set of M18 CP3.0 Red Lithium batteries from Home Depot last December, and now one has stopped working. Is it normal that the website doesn't offer any shipping options for repairs? The closest service center to my area in Detroit is 45 miles away, and I'm really frustrated because support just keeps directing me back to the website. I've been a loyal Milwaukee user for nearly 25 years, but I'm starting to question my loyalty with how useless this 2-year warranty feels right now.

That's pretty frustrating! I've heard Dewalt will send replacement batteries without making you return the old ones. It seems like Milwaukee's service could really use some improvement. Have you tried entering your serial number on their support site? It's odd that you would get no shipping options. Maybe it’s related to the specific battery model you have?

Yeah, I entered the serial number and included the receipt, but I got an error saying there were no repair options. Just leads me back to finding a service center, which is such a hassle.
