I just bought a Glacier Bay vanity from Home Depot, but the vanity top isn't flush with my drywall. There's a slight bow in the drywall, which is made worse by the vanity top's curve that protrudes more at the bottom. I'm considering a few options: 1. Cutting into the drywall near the bottom center of the vanity top, 2. Sanding down the bulging part of the vanity top, or 3. Exchanging it for a potentially flatter one. Any advice would be appreciated!

Don't forget about using silicone caulk! It helps seal the edges to prevent water from getting in, and it can cover up some imperfections. Just ensure it's applied neatly!
Honestly, the simplest solution is probably to exchange the vanity top for a flatter one. Bring a yardstick to check the straightness of the new options and make sure it fits properly before you buy. If a new one still isn’t a perfect fit, then you might need to sand or cut a bit more, but starting fresh is your best bet!
You could also think about adding a backsplash. It not only covers up that gap but also looks nice and gives you that finished look you want for your vanity.

Great tip on bringing a yardstick! It's always good to have a straight edge when checking for fit.
