What Could Be Causing My Dishwasher to Make Fluttering Noises?

I've got a three-year-old LG dishwasher that's started making these odd fluttering sounds. I'm not sure what the problem might be. It only happens while it's running or when the cycle is complete, not when it's empty. Any ideas on what could be going on? I even recorded a video of the noise here: [https://imgur.com/a/Jx7Ravc](https://imgur.com/a/Jx7Ravc)

Sounds like something's not quite right. From your description, it kind of resembles a sprinkler system's noise. It may be a good idea to bring in a pro. Don't wait too long—could turn into a bigger issue!

That fluttering noise is definitely strange! Does it still make that sound when the dishwasher is empty? Sometimes it can be a symptom of something like the spray arm being blocked or loose. If not, it might be worth calling a repair person to check it out. They usually charge between $100-300 for a visit, but it's likely they can fix it on the spot.
